Savage Saturdays’ at The Oasis
James Island, SC - April 20, 2013 - The Oasis and Knight Booking, in association with Savage Union and the newly formed, Holy City Hip Hop Committee presents; the only monthly recurring Hip Hop event in the Charleston area; “Savage Saturdays.”
The third Saturday of April will mark the beginning of a fragile new era for Charleston’s emerging hip hop scene in the form of a potential monthly hip hop showcase at The Oasis. Anchored by the city’s front runner in underground break neck hip hop, Savage Souls, this event is set to potentially define the local hip hop scene and shine more light on local talent.
Coinciding with the beginning of Savage Souls' newest mixtape project of the same name; "Savage Saturdays." With one new track being released each Saturday for three months culminating in a new free mixtape release a few months later. "It's really just a stall tactic while the album (IRFC) slowly crawls to the finish line." Kae G remarked, "But it evolved into this amazing project and will definitely define the Savage styling moving forward."
